Carl Whitney is a professional contract investigator with Fischer Protection Group, specializing in a wide range of investigations, including criminal and civil law, family law matters, background checks, witness location, missing persons, workplace complaints, and cybersecurity investigations. He also provides discreet Sub Rosa surveillance, executive protection, and works closely with attorneys and their clients to ensure the best outcomes for their cases.
Carl Whitney has over 30 years of law enforcement experience, having risen through the ranks and retiring as a lieutenant in 2021. Drawing from this extensive experience, Carl has taught a variety of subjects, including interview and interrogation, use of force documentation, SWAT, and defensive tactics. He also served as an academy trainer at Golden West College, where he helped shape the next generation of law enforcement professionals.
Carl holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, an AS degree in Cyber Defense, and an AA degree in Criminal Justice. He is a graduate of the prestigious Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute and holds several professional certificates from California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).
Carl has received multiple awards for his dedication and bravery, including the Anaheim Police Department Life Saving Award, the Garden Grove Police Department’s Medal of Valor, and the Boy Scouts of America Gold Award. He has also been recognized as Officer of the Year and earned several auto theft recovery accolades.
